Scheron Tyrone Bryant tried purchasing the gun from Bluestone Firearms in Lower Windsor Township using a falsified document in June 2020, local police said.
A warrant for Bryant's arrest was obtained on March 23.
Bryant frequents York City and has connections to Brooklyn, NY.
